Back to the Roots on NYC School Menus
Last summer, Kellogg discontinued two Kashi cereals, Berry Blossoms and Honey Sunshine, that were on the breakfast menu of the New York City public schools. But instead of replacing them with other Kellogg cereals, the schools opted to buy Back to the Roots cereals because of their better nutritional profile and organic ingredients. That’s a pretty big win for a small company!
Back to the Roots was an investment made by members of the CompanyFirst team while at CircleUp.
